In a surprising story, the Sun Sentinel paper released an editorial stating their opposition to our growing movement. They opposed a ban but suggest that local governments charge for bags. It's interesting that they received a quote from the Florida Retail Federation (Publix lobbying group) but not any local leaders. Regardless, it's great to see that they are giving this item more attention. Several Broward County cities are discussing this item including Dania Beach this week.
