Senate Plastic Bag Passes 1st Committee! We need help today!!

The plastic bag bill successfully got through the first committee ever. In the past 3 years this is the first time it's ever gotten through a committee. Senate Bill 966 is now in the hands of Senator Simpson who is the chair of the Community Affairs Committee. The deadline for the agenda for this bill is 4/9 at 4:30PM for the April 14th meeting. Here is the call to action; Please call and politely ask Senator Simpson at (850) 487-5018 and send emails to simpson.wilton@flsenate.gov and kassabaum.mary@flsenate.gov and ask to have Senate Bill 966 be heard at the April 14th meeting for Community Affairs.
