In a monumental decision Senate Bill 966 (Disposable Plastic Bags) has been added to the April 8th agenda by Chairman Senator Dean to the Senate Committee on Environmental Preservation and Conservation. The meeting is at 1:30PM in the Mallory Horne Committee Room, 37 Senate Office Building 404 S Monroe St., Tallahassee, FL 32399 and open to the public. Below is the call to action for what you can do to help this bill get passed in the committee. Please call and email every Senator on the committee and ask for their support for Senate Bill 966 which will allow local home rule over plastic bag regulations.
