We ask that you, Governor Dannel P. Malloy, show some compassion and grant the release of Kato & Kleo.  The Town of Hamden, Connecticut issued a KILL ORDER in October 2012 and they have been held in a dog pound for NEARLY 4 YEARS!  Their owner has spent over $50,000 trying very hard to get them back. They were PUPPIES when they were taken. One of them now has terminal cancer and is dying.  The Town of Hamden and Mayor Curt B. Leng now say that they DO NOT want these dogs killed. As you will see in the video above, Kato & Kleo truly are gentle giants. Everyone (including vets and kennel assistants in North Haven & West Haven) who has spent more than five minutes with either of them, agrees that they are absolutely wonderful dogs. Even after having spent ALMOST 4 YEARS in a high stress kennel environment, they are still the sweet and responsive dogs they were when taken.
