Just a reminder about Sensible Solar for Rural New York's Zoom town hall meeting tomorrow -- Monday, November 29th at 6:00 pm -- for
important updates on Hecate Energy's proposed Shepherd's Run solar facility.
As Hecate Energy prepares to submit its final application for Shepherd's Run -- a 60-megawatt, 220-acre solar facility proposed for Copake and Craryville, NY -- to the New York State Office of Renewable Energy Siting (ORES) in January 2022, Sensible Solar thought it was important to provide residents a comprehensive update on Hecate's plans and timeline, as well as the project's anticipated impact on our rural community.
You should also know that Hecate Energy is hosting an open house at the Hillsdale Firehouse on Tuesday, November 30th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. This is an important opportunity for residents to ask questions and share concerns with Hecate representatives.
