It's 2021 and still, Texas continues to TORTURE DOGS & is on the bottom of the list for decency towards dogs. Some of the worst abuse cases are down there and Governor Abbott had the chance.... he had the chance and blew it!!!! NO PERSON IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD DO THIS!!! YOU CALL YOURSELF FOR CHRISTIAN WILL YOU SCREWED UP BECAUSE GOD SAYS IN THE BIBLE NOT TO HARM ANIMALS.... YOUR POSITION ALLOWS YOU TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF DOGS AND HUMAN BEINGS THAT SUFFER ALONG WITH THEM KNOWING WHAT THEY GO THROUGH...Sad day for MAN'S BEST FRIEND.  The only thing he can do now is put those bills forward Governor Abbott it's not 1940 okay??? People don't put up with this anymore!!? I do dog rescue and all of Canada and all of the United States knows that Texas is one of the worst states. Are you PROUD of that??? It paints a sickening portrayal of you and Texas.  Hundreds of people in Vancouver Canada have Texas dogs and you have no shame!!! Look at your city of Houston about 2 million Street dogs suffering what do you want it to be another India there? LAST TIME I LOOKED WE ARE NOT A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY YET YOU TREAT DOGS AS IF IT WERE. A group of us travel nurses went to corpus Christi for a 13 week assignment all six of us left after 2 weeks not being able to save the packs of disease dying and suffering animals on the street!!! Dogs kept in a large lab THERE IN TX, where an employee left after 20 years and said they were not getting anywhere for a cure and all those dogs suffering terribly terribly with no human contact no Love on them alone, never to know what happiness is never to play and frolic this should make you vomit normal people do!!! Yes, this should make you sick unless you're a psychopath or sociopath.  WE LOVE THIS COUNTRY, ARE PROUD OF THIS COUNTRY, SADLY, WE ARE ASHAMED OF TEXAS. WE ARE THE USA, NOT INDIA WHERE WE THOUGHT WE WERE!!! .. We tried to bring some of the puppies to the shelter BUT all six were bursting with dogs did you know this Governor Abbott are you going to keep treating dogs like this??? You have the power yet you CONDONE ALL OF THIS  UTTERLY unbelievable. AND WE ARE REPUBLICANS!!! We ended up having dozens & dozens of travel nurses avoiding Texas to stand up for the suffering dogs in Texas & still don't. And all over Canada they talk about it & all over the United States. We ask/beg you to change those bills immediately before any more dogs die. We also ask that you look on the internet about what it does to a dog to tie it up to a heavy chain that eventually opens the neck and the heavy chain then then rubs against the open wound infecting it every time the dog moves. The dog is IN AGONY TWO WAYS ONE FROM HIS TERRIBLE CONDITION OF HIS NECK AND HOW IT'S GETTING WORSE AND WORSE AND NOWHERE TO RUN BUT FIVE OR SIX FEET I DON'T CARE IF IT'S 10 FT IS A HEAVY CHAIN DOG SHOULD NOT BE TETHERED ALL THE TIME!!! THIS IS WHAT WE'VE LEARNED SINCE THE 50'S...THEY DO GET DEPRESSED THEY FEEL THINGS GOVERNOR ABBOTT THEY FEEL THINGS THEY HAVE FEELINGS GOVERNOR ABBOTT GET THAT THROUGH YOUR HEAD. THE LATEST SCIENTIFIC STUDY PROVED THAT DOGS ARE AT THE LEVEL OF 3-YEAR-OLD CHILDREN SO THEY DO HAVE SOME SENSE OF WHAT'S GOING ON AND THEY DO HURT.

..I HOPE YOU LOSE SLEEP THE NEXT COUPLE OF NIGHTS OVER WHAT YOU DID AND I HOPE YOU CHANGE IT RIGHT AWAY!!! MILLIONS ARE WAITING & HOPING....it loses its mind it gets so depressed and it is so precious, so forgiving & helpless.  A lot of my colleagues CRIED. WE ARE IN DISBELIEF...IN 2021?   GO ON FACEBOOK AND LOOK UP TEXAS DOGS RESCUE AND YOU'LL SEE HORRIFIC PICTURES OF HOW DOGS ARE KEPT IN TEXAS HORRIFIC ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC YOU'D HAVE TO BE A ROBOT OR A PSYCHOPATH OR SOCIOPATH NOT TO HAVE YOUR HEART BREAK!??? BECAUSE OF YOU THE POLICE DO NOTHING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WHEN THEY'RE CALLED OUT TO DOGS BEING TETHERED WITH THESE CHAINS SUFFERING ALL BECAUSE OF YOU, YOU WITH ALL THE POWER!

In closing, I just want to remind you that God doesn't want us to hurt animals.... you are going against his word please think about that. Thank you.
