We never believed the argument that once veterans monuments were removed from public property they would be left completely alone on private property. This is about historic and cultural cleansing and the perpetrators will not stop until every trace of these monuments is eradicated. That's why the line must be drawn in defense of the original public presence. Where monument protection laws exist they must be implemented with the full force of the law. Monument desecration also needs to be designated a hate crime now!
