In the midst of the COVID outbreak, we as independent contractors are waiting on the states approval for independent contractors to receive unemployment Benefits. We are in the same boat as many that have lost their jobs due to this virus, we need this to be approved  so that we can continue on with paying bills, paying mortgages, and putting food on our tables- this is a matter of survival for many of us. We need this to go into effect now, we deserve the same support as all of our fellow Texans- this is truly an emergency situation for many of us.
