Ditch Daylight Savings Time AROUND THE WORLD.
The Issue
It’s annoying.
It’s frustrating.
It ruins our daylight.
It makes winter more depressing than it already sometimes is.
It itself is depressing.
It causes problems with international travel and communication because it doesn’t change during the same weeks in all countries.
It smells really bad.
It’s a bully.
It doesn’t play nice with others.
It’s a lie because when we turn the clocks back, we LOSE daylight when we need it most.
It’s a thief.
It causes breakups.
It causes arguments.
It results in people getting fired.
It creates discord.
Must I really go on?
I notice many petitions on this website to encourage this change. But they are all only advocating for a change in one particular country. That won’t work. It has to be a GLOBAL change.
And why? It truly does cause problems. Studies have shown it causes heart attacks. It causes people to show up late for important meetings. It makes people more depressed in winter. And for those doing business with China and Europe, it's terrible: China has no daylight savings time at all, and Europe's starts and ends on different days. It's a big ol' batch of bad timing! :D
Bottom line: the bad far outweighs the good,
So tell ALL your friends around the world to sign this petition. Your time and well-being is waiting.
