We need a clear national plan for pets, in the event that someone needs to go to hospital.

People touch their pets and pet fur can hold the virus which can then infect another person who touches the pet.

Could you ask vets or other businesses to step forward to offer:

1) safe pet pick up and pet washing so that someone else (a family member or friend) can safely take the pet into their home while the owner is in hospital;

2) safe pet pick up and pet boarding if no one is available to take the pet.

Can you please make public what people are to do if they need to go to hospital.

Can you please start a registry online where people can list their pets, the names, behaviours, medical needs, and other relevant info, so that the pets are taken care of if the person goes to hospital.
