Stop Using Animals For Spying

Stop Using Animals For Spying
The Issue
Animals have been used for military and intelligence purposes for a long time. Pigeons, cats and dogs have been used as drones and bombs during World War II and dolphins and sharks have been used for similar military purposes by the Unites States Navy under their Marine Mammal Program.
Similarly, cats, pigeons, ravens and squirrels have been recruited by CIA and other intelligence agencies around the world to during the Cold War and in the following years. For example, under the Acoustic Kitty program, the CIA surgically modified cats to implant microphones and antennas and trained them to eavesdrop on foreign political figures. Acoustic Kitty failed, the cats died and 25 million dollars went down the drain.
Animals have suffered torture and abuses of all sorts when enrolled in these surreal government programs. We want these abuses to stop, we want to put an end to humans coercing animals into illegal spying. Support our cause. Stop the Spy Animals!
