We want the government to amend the Food Laws and want them to be more strict

The Issue

Adulteration is an addition of another substance to a food item in order to increase the quantity of the food item, which may result in the loss of actual quality of food item .It is usually done in many food products including Daily items!

Adulteration is Practiced as a part of the business strategy, an imitation of some other food substance, increased food demand for a rapidly growing population and lack of knowledge about proper food consumption.

Usually, most of the Adulterated Products are our day to day products like Spices, Ghee, Milk & Milk Products, Honey, sugar, etc.

Adulterated milk is made by adding Urea, Starch Powder, Shampoo and Water to milk in order to increase the Quantity of milk! Fruits like apple are coated with artificial wax to make then lustrous, pulses are polished, to attract customers! All of these adulterants are harmful for our health and cause various diseases, even Cancer!

Together, we can stop Adulteration by identifying Adulterated Products, avoiding them and complaining to FSSAI. We can start Community Gardens, Kitchen Garden, start buying Organic Products.

According to our Survey, Average ratings for Government's effort is 2.5 / 5

Please fill our Survey Form 1 & Survey Form 2

The final power to change the laws lies in hands of Government of India, Health Ministry & FSSAI. Together, we can make a change by stopping Adulteration & requesting Government to stricken the laws!!!!!
