Ever since the Lockdown started in March'20, like every other industry, Gyms too shut business and waited patiently for the 'Unlock phase' to be announced by the Government. Gyms suffered immensely - struggled to pay Rents, Salaries, Electricity and other bills. The industry is on the verge of collapse but we fought for existence on a daily basis hoping that Fitness Industry would be one of the first industries to open as Fitness is a key weapon in the hands of the public in fighting this pandemic, and denying the public of that will only lead to compromised immunity. Fit hoga India tabhi tho Corona se ladega India!

Unfortunately, in the 1st phase, other public institutions in the country, like restaurants, salons, hotels, shopping malls were allowed to open but GYMs are still in lockdown. Any further delay in opening will cripple the Fitness industry forever.

Gyms employ thousands of staff, not only Gym Trainers but also Administration, Marketing, Housekeeping staff. The very livelihood of all these people is under threat and thousands will get unemployed if gyms do not survive.

It is our appeal to the Government and Administration to allow gyms to open immediately, and we promise on our part to strictly & sincerely adhere to the safety and hygiene protocol required while exercising at the gym.
