The Government of Malta has decided that from the 17th of January, all unvaccinated individuals should and will ultimately be limited when it comes to which places they can attend. Restaurants, bars, gyms etcetera will officially become no-go zones for the unvaccinated. 

This is thoroughly inhumane and goes against basic human rights to every extent. The Covid-19 pandemic took the world by storm, however, is currently on its last legs with Omicron potentially being its last strain of significance. It is scientifically proven that Omicron is much weaker than the original SARS-COV-19 strain and therefore poses as much less of a threat. 

Despite all of this, the Government of Malta has decided to bury its head in the sand and continue on with restricting full-blown healthy individuals whom the majority of have already been affected by Covid-19 and therefore have developed clinical natural immunity against the virus. 

This is absolutely unacceptable and we are therefore asking the Government to listen to its people and cancel its January 17th 2022 plans to restrict the movement of healthy individuals and therefore let Maltese citizens continue to exercise their right provided by the constitution; that of free movement with immediate effect. 

Quarantine is when one restricts the movement of sick people, tyranny is when the movement of healthy people is restricted.
