Every year we have to go through endless fireworks. We don't know when, where, who or how long for. It's time to change the law!

I want this to change now. The law is outdated, we have the right to feel safe. Elderly people,  pet lovers, children and adults should not have to be subjected to such terrifying experiences in their own homes. Neither should our wild animals and birds in their natural habitat. 

Where I live we have had to suffer continuous or sporadic fireworks for the last five weeks. My dog now panicks with anticipation  and fear every night.  For all us pet owners it is a nightmare as we struggle to calm our pets through this horrible experience. I know there are many people who will feel like me and have turned to buying endless products,  building dens, sitting up all night to help our pets cope. I  become stressed and anxious, not knowing when the next big bangs will come. 

As I sit here now on 10th of November we have had over three hours of continuous fireworks including a group of young people at the back of my house letting off fireworks and laughing, without a care for anyone. They may be legally old enough to buy them or too young and get someone else to buy them. Either way they are not mature enough. 

We are a civilzed nation. We are a nation of animal lovers. Why does the law still allow people to create such misery to so many every year? Help me stop it.
