During this scary uncertain time of a pandemic, universities have closed and have moved to teach online because of Covid-19 but students are still having to pay accommodation rent to private companies such as Unites Students & Campus Living Villages. This is a non-existent term and semester, which means 3/4 months of rent will have to be paid for accommodation that isn't being used due to a majority of us returning or isolating at home. Many of us already struggle financially and this is unfair and should be the last worry on our minds! Please sign this petition, whether you're a student or not, you are helping many of us speak our voices!

Solution: To suspend rent with private student accommodation companies such as Campus Living Villages and Unites Students for months where property is not being used by students during the lockdown.
