Every morning we take a nice clean bath. Wear nicely washed and ironed clothes. Comb out hair. In my case put on my matching jhumkas and leave the house for the day. 

What next?

I see the watchman spitting. I see the auto driver spitting out from a moving auto. I see the bus driver spitting at signals. I see people like you and me. Well dressed. Carrying laptop bags. Carrying branded phones. Wearing suit and shirt and traveling in 1st class compartment of our local trains. Spit unnecessarily on the tracks as they wait for train to arrive. 

Spitting out saliva. Spitting out gutka/paan. 

Gargling on the tracks and on road with water. 

Many times I pointed it out and tried to make the person feel guilty. Instead the person frowned at me and made me feel like “what’s the big deal?”

one side the government is claiming to spend crores of rupees on the Swachh Bharat. And other side the bharat k beta and Beti are spitting right on the face of Mother Earth. 

Sign this petition if you feel government should implement laws and fine for spitting strictly and make sure spitting on road is punishable offenece

 because apart from the cleanliness factor even public hygiene is largely influenced by this. 

We do not know how many tuberculosis patients are roaming around without themselves knowing about it. And are spitting and throwing their sputum infected with tuberculosis bacteria in public.
