A letter from Chris Heaton-Harris (The Minister of State for Transport) dated 27th October 2021 regarding the Louth to Firsby railway line. Although this project wasn't awarded funding the Department for Transport have asked Network Rail to consider the reinstatement of the railway line to Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire in their future Lincolnshire Rail Study. It's not all for NOTHING, and something might actually come out of this hopefully. The railway line to Mablethorpe might be RE-OPENED!
