Post Office Horizon Scandal

The Issue

  • Remove the CBE from former Post Office chief Paula Vennell for her part in the post office Horizon computer system scandal, that has seen hundreds of innocent former sub Postmasters both criminalised and jailed. These sub postmasters include a pregnant mother and it is now clear after a recent court case and the recent BBC panarama programme that the post office senior management and hierarchy, were made aware on numerous occasions before the majority of the immoral prosecutions and by many different reputable companies and organisations, of the truth about all of Horizons faults and glitches. Paula Vennell's continued reluctance to accept the facts and truthfully explain why key evidence was withheld from the public record, shows her complete lack of empathy to all their victims and famalies. Withdraw the CBE.
