I'm a french teacher, a journalist, a father of 3 boys. I'm 45 years old and i was a probation officer in France. On 1st of january 2019 i saw a teenager in a court of justice, sentenced to prison. His distress broke my heart, badly. I saw humanity in his eyes, i saw him praying with intensity. When he heard the sentence, i'm sure his heart was broken too, and his vitaly gone out. He just failed on the floor. I didn't know his name. So i began to search. After 3 days i put a name and a story on his face. His name is Jacob Matthew Morgan and he was sentenced in 2015, at 17 years old, to 15 years of prison for the death of his little half brother Joshua (14 month old). I read everything i found. It is said he put fire on his family s mobilhome, which killed his half brother. An expert said there is two ignition connected with heater (not sure). Jacob Matthew Morgan said he didn't killed his half-brother, his familly, even his stepfather said he was not guilty. They said he is autistic, which means he can t play comedy : his distress is real. So i just want to help him. I wrote to human rights USA but no answer, i wrote to York county detention but no answer. I try to be in touch with Julie Morgan, but i don t find a facebook page. But i discover her community support in 2016, which doesn't work anymore. I m surprised to not find a committee support for Jacob Matthew Morgan. I wrote on my Linkedin and facebook pages about him. Some french people reacted. So thanks to help me to be in touch with him and his familly, and talking together in order to help him. Sorry for my english, i'm french and wrote from Normandy (France).
