Every year in Trinidad & Tobago the residential use of explosive fireworks devices causes the injury and death of animals and people. Sellers have been able to operate unregulated and unobstructed by Trinidad & Tobago law enforcement and the general public has been able to easily purchase and detonate explosive 'fireworks' causing injury to themselves and others, including the direct death of household animals. Private citizens are, under no circumstance, able to safely oversee the use of explosives. This petition appeals to the lawmakers and reasonable citizens of Trinidad & Tobago to assist in adequate change to our existing laws to prevent further injury and death. Celebration does not require detonation.
