To end the cruelty meted out to captive elephants in Sri Lanka

The film above shows the handlers severely beating chained elephants so badly they are screaming.  It was filmed at the Buddhist Temple, Bellanwilla. No one there seemed remotely concerned at what was happening and it appears that many elephants have died.  This is so appalling that something just must be done to help these beautiful, innocent and intelligent animals. The elephants name is believed to be Myan Prince.
Tourists are unwittingly encouraging this by visiting them and going for rides on the poor things.
