Hello everyone!

I am starting this petition because we know that the population of Pakistan is about 212 million and the total seats in both medical and dentical colleges (government as well as private sector) are 18290 if we see collectively(4 provinces+Azad kashmir+Federal territory). It means that every year only 15105 medical doctors and 3185 dental doctors are admitted and these figures show that here is one medical doctor for 14035 Pakistanis and 1 dental doctor for more than 66k Pakistanis. being available and we know that our population is increasing with 2% growth rate but seats have not been increased accordingly every year.

     In my opinion Government of Pakistan(Health ministry) and Pakistan medical and dental council should review their policies and start Evening session in government medical and dental colleges. there are 59 government medical colleges if government allows each medical college to add 70 students in evening session and tuition fee is made 0.7 times more than many of the student who have good marks but not enough fee to join private medical college can serve the nation and monetarily it is beneficial for government also as there will be 4130 more students in public sector universities paying 0.7 times more fee than morning session students.

    This is also necessary because there is increasing population but doctors are decresing relatively.

if there will be 4130 more doctors every year then soon this doctor-patient ratio will be more stable than now(although it will take much time to compete other countries as DOCTOR-PATIENT RATIO IN SOME OTHER CUNTRIES is USA 1:360, in saudi arabia 1:500, in Iran 1:500.

morever 140000 is per capita anuual income in pakistan while total expenditure for private sector universities for one year are about 10 lac then how a farmer/labourer's son who is in top 10000 students of pakistan can get admission university because out of 15105 MBBS seats only 7555 seats are for public sector universities.
