I've been fishing for 40 years and I created this petition because I want to make sure that we do not face a ban from the provincial government of Ontario during the Covid19 pandemic in 2020. 

Whether you believe me or not if you are a Hunter or Angler please sign the petition to show your support. 

And yes nothing is closed right now but they've already placed a ban on crown land, they've closed marinas and boat launches and waterfront parks etc. I've been in touch with the provincial Covid19 hotline and I know it's a matter of time. I started asking specific questions and based on the answers I know how far they are willing to go to ban most activities completely. 

When I called the OPP and MNR both referred me to the provincial Covid19 hotline for my questions. 

Marinas are not even allowed to repair boats, put them in the water, or provide gasoline for example. That was an alarm bell to me. I asked a ton of other questions as well when I called the hotline. 

Hunting and Fishing with members of our own household should fall under acceptable social distancing guidelines. This is absolutely very personal to me and I plan on following through to ensure none of us lose our rights.

P.S. If you don't bother signing or sharing to get more signatures...don't complain when you find out that you no longer have any rights to hunt or fish. Canada is supposed to stand for our freedoms!
