Namaste, this does not relate to the traffic situation of Nepal by far but it concerns every Nepalese citizen as well as visitors from foreign nations and this was the only platform I could reach people out in masses.
Nepal lacks a proper Health Care system and We Nepalis have been aware of it for quite some time. Hospitals do exist which promise the highest quality of services and it would be wrong to think that they’re not doing their jobs properly, but having only a single place for the test of COVID-19 is bad for a nation like ours where there are hundreds of places that have high risk factors for an outbreak. Panicking won’t help the situation but action is must right now as a nation and as individuals. Here are a few steps to slow the outbreak when it occurs. It may not be a matter of if but when. 1-2-3s of Corona Outbreak prevention :
Step 1 : Wash your hands often, at least for 30 seconds, use soap and warm water. Do not touch your face with dirty hands.
Step 2 : Keep your Distance. Do not hug, shake hands. Keep a minimum distance of 2 meters (6 feet) from people at all times.
Step 3 : Stay inside your homes unless in a case of an emergency. Connect with your loved ones and ask them to take precautions. Do not get into crowds.
Your work can stay on hold for a while but your life just can’t. Take Care.
