The elections of Dsgmc are scheduled for 25/04/2021 in Delhi. But the Covid cases are rising rapidly in delhi and leading doctors have suggested that delhi doubling of cases rate is 6 days . As per the calculation delhi will have 15000 cases per day around 18 April 2021 . The elections of Delhi Sikh Gurudwara management committee can be postponed for a few months or till the time normalcy  returns and cases reduce as in the past . The entire Sikh voters of delhi are at the risk of this infection along with the staff who have been deployed to get the election conducted . The meetings for election campaign and entire process can become super spreader events as Covid appropriate behaviour is not maintained by the contesting candidates and their supporters. There is a view amongst many Sikh voters that these elections  should not be held in these difficult times especially when cases are multiplying in an unprecedented way . Let us all express our opinion and support this petition to avoid any unpleasant situation for the city .
