Two Hours Time Off for People of Hindu Faith Every Monday

Two Hours Time Off for People of Hindu Faith Every Monday
The Issue
Namaste,
We are launching this petition to obtain the maximum signatures so that we can make an appeal to the government to allow people of Hindu Faith 2 hours time off every Monday. The reasons for this appeal are as follows:
For Hindus, Monday is one of the most auspicious days of the week as it is in honour of the prominent God Lord Shiva. However, many people are unable to attend the Shiva Abhishek because it starts early and work ends late. Though everyday we perform our daily prayers, Monday remains one of the sacred day for us Hindus. The Shiva Abhishek is indeed an important ritual and Hindus really have at heart for this. This 2 hours off will enable them to attend the nearest places of worship for the prayers without any rush. Furthermore, it will help many to adore the spiritual path and root our upcoming generation towards our Dharma (The religious and moral law governing individual conduct). To add, this will further unite our Hindu family with collective weekly worships.
We sincerely hope to establish a consensus among all stakeholders and hope to hearing a positive response. Thank you for your consideration.
