Thank you all for answering our urgent call for help, your tremendous support and effort has set a precedent for Malawi and resulted in a resounding victory in only a matter of hours. This battle has been won but the war is only beginning, there are many more illegal issues concerning Lake Malawi and it’s catchment area that we are now encouraged by your support to investigate and expose without the fear of being silenced and victimized. Together we stand strong with Lake Malawi. We have decided to form an organization called Lake Shepherd for the offficial independent surveillance and defense of Lake Malawi and it’s catchment area in co-operation with the Malawi Government.This will also provide us with more credibility, a louder voice and the possibility to raise funds to support our joint plans to ensure the sustainability of Lake Malawi for many generations to come.
