Day 9 Update | 60 % of Our Journey and We Still Need Your Help Today!

Hi Friends,
Thanks to our combined SHARING efforts, 9100+ of us Jamaicans (local and international), UTech,Jamaica Alumni (local, Caribbean and international), as well as persons of goodwill towards Jamaica and our National University, the University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech, Jamaica), have all united and signed our petition:
GOJ: Increase the Subvention to the University of Technology, Jamaica, Commensurate with Need
On Day 9, we have completed approx 60% of our journey to 15,000 united for #moresubvention4utechja
HOW CAN YOU HELP TO ENERGIZE THE PETITION?
- Keep sharing the petition daily on social media at different times throughout the day, as members of your online community vary on the times they connect online. The more frequent and spaced your posting online, the greater chance for more of your community to see the petition and support it. Why not try a morning, lunch-time, late evening strategy?
- Ask everyone with an email address in your home to sign the petition.
- Convince 1 person each day to sign the petition.
- If you are a member of an online group or a professional association or service club, these groups have size-able membership. Ask the leaders if they would share an email or post to the group members asking them to support the petition. We are grateful to the leaders of the UTech, Ja Students' Union, the UTech, Ja Administrative Staff Association, and the Jamaica Institute of Architects (JIA) for sharing our petition with their members. Each time the response of the respective members caused our numbers to spike.
