Raghuram Rajan, a man way ahead of his times in thinking and knowledge. His overhaul of the Reserve Bank of India and his boldness in taking decisions may it be to maintain the stability of the Rupee; or stabilizing the macro-economy of India is truly commendable.

Economy Unplugged

A man known to speak to the point on his issues, his leadership has been one of the most pro-active in the history of RBI. From expressing his differences openly may it be with Finance Minister or with the Chief Economic Adviser, Rajan has walked the talk of sustaining Indian Economy in turbulent times.

Mission Incomplete

However Rajans term is coming to an end this September. With time fast approaching it is important that Rajan be given a second term to complete what he has set out to do. 

However there is no indication from the Government yet to announce a second term for the gifted in-house economist they possess. The petition is a sincere attempt to send across our opinions to the decision makers, displaying our support for one of the best RBI Governors we have had.
