As you know, the Coronavirus crisis requires that we all make sacrifices for the future health and well-being of our nation.

You have been kind enough to order a lockdown, which has lead to great and salutary sacrifices by the private sector.

As per the latest CMIE report, 14% of the working population has lost employment during the lockdown.

According to CMIE, this implies that of the order of 140 million or 14 crore people have lost employment in the lockdown.

This does not count many other sacrifices by the private sector such as business losses, crop failures and supply chain disruptions.

Because we are all in this together, we request you to immediately order :

- Termination of 14% of your employees

Or

- 14 % Salary Cuts for all your employees, and for yourselves.

THIS IS A SMALL SACRIFICE THAT WE ARE SURE YOU WILL MAKE, AS A MARK OF SOLIDARITY WITH THE NATION.

IT WILL ALSO HELP RESOLVE THE BUDGETARY PROBLEMS BY REDUCING FISCAL DEFICIT.

More Termination / Salary Cut may be ordered as and when more job losses are observed in private sector.
