Abolish Personal Income Tax
The time for this idea has come. Imagine that our Government has already more avenues to get the required revenues to fund current expenditures and would not be dependent on our personal Income Tax. And when we say Personal Income Tax, it is the tax what individuals pay on their income.

If we can have more disposable income in our accounts, we could probably save more, spend more or invest more which is eventually going to benefit India's economy one way or the other. There is no way that such a radical reform would ever be disadvantageous to a fast growing economy like ours.
To be honest, this tax is akin to a modern day 'Jazia' that is levied and collected at the expense of honest taxpayers.
Let's get together to get rid of this fiscal repression once and for all.
