Although it is illegal to hit other people or even animals, our most vulnerable population is not protected. In Canada is is completely legal to hit children under the age of 12 with a bare hand. The evidence that corporal punishment does so much more harm than good is plentiful. We need to protect the children of Canada from physical harm.
