Today April 22, 2021 at 3pm the Federal government announced 30-day flight bans into Canada from, at least, India and Pakistan due to their covid surge. Although there were other locations indicated regarding international travel concern, this is an important step towards global safety.

I pray for families suffering across the world during this time and I hope Canada will continue to provide aid to countries suffering, particularly family and friends in South East Asia. There are no words for the sadness and pain suffered by the world during this time.

I'm glad to say no matter how small, voices were heard today, and the safety of the world was considered through travel restrictions and border closures.
