The Ukrainain people, and democracy itself, is under an unprovoked attack by Russia. Ukraine needs help from Britain now more then ever. Sanctions have not worked and there is little evidence showing it will deter the current path that Russia is on. I propose we give Ukraine, military support, and humanitarian aid for it’s citizens. We should not give in to tyrants that endanger world peace. If Russia is successful. Other neighbouring eastern European countries could well be next. As we know Putin wants to return to the borders that Russia had before the fall of communism. Putin has denounced the very existence of Ukraine and it’s people. And mirrors Hitlers movements in 1939. Britain has proudly been a peace keeping Nation for many years. If we do not protect Ukraine in its hour of need, then the power of tyrants shall always endure and democracy will always be in danger.  

Military aid includes ~  creating no fly zones to limit Russia’s air movements. Sending Ukraine military equipment both defensive & offensive. Sending tactical advisors to aid Ukrainian military. Providing military intelligence to Ukraine, (E.G) satellites  

Humanitarian aid includes ~ Food, clothing and shelter for displaced Ukrainians fleeing the conflict. Providing medical equipment / training to help those wounded.
