The government want to force parents to make their deaf born child to have a cochlear implant, I myself understand deafness with having hearing and deaf family and how unaware people are on deafness, what I want to achieve is stopping the government from forcing parents to make their child undergo this operation and making it a free choice, not a forced choice. Also I want to achieve that BSL (British Sign Language) is taught at all schools as part of mandatory GCSE’s this will benefit the country in so many ways and will help so many more deaf people be more comfortable in their own home towns and while out and about
