I am so disgusted at how lightly this woman got away with the abuse she caused her partner Paul Jenner. This poor man suffered horrendously at the hands of his partner Sherry Pauline Naidoo. I have never been affected by a story so much as I had been when I watched 24 hours in police custody. Initially she beat him within an inch of his life and was sentenced to a measly 15 weeks. Within 5 days of her being released she attacked him again which ultimately lead to his death. He suffered a fractured eye socket and 3 bleeds on the brain. The judge ended the trial as there was no case to be answered as there was no proof, her punch being what made him fall to the floor & bang his head was what caused his death (there was a recording of Paul saying his partner did this to him) She's served 8 months for what she did to this guy for 7 years of abuse and beatings 8 months is not enough. She was initially handed out a 16 month sentence which she's only served half of meaning she could get out any day now. His life mattered and he is worthy of justice, and she needs to be charged not only for murder, but for 7 years of domestic violence too. It is a fact that the bleeds on his brain was what lead to his death & it is a fact that she is the one who caused these injuries. There was witnesses who witnessed Sherry abusing her partner & the police felt strongly she should have served a heavier sentence the first time as they said in court this woman will kill this man which is exactly what she went on to do. She showed no remorse for what she did to this poor man & 8 months for killing your partner is not making an example and putting people off hurting their partner, this sentence is an embarrassment and telling people it is okay and you can get away with murder if you tell a sob story, which having an alcoholic dad and suffered domestic violence with a previous partner is no excuse to beat your current partner senseless. Please sign this petition and get justice for Paul Jenner his life mattered and so does everyone else's who suffers domestic violence this is not OK and will never be OK. Something needs to be changed because in domestic violence cases previous domestic violence can not be used as evidence in court when it should because it really is clear what sort of person this is and what needs to happen. She took Paul's life away now she should pay the price this needs to be looked at again.
