Please help to stop litter now! Because the UK has become a litter eyesore. On every highway, there are literally thousands of discarded cans, bottles, plastic, containers, debris. The list goes on. When you add fly-tipping into the equation then it just adds up to a mess, a very big one. Who is picking this stuff up? Where has the pride in our country gone? What has happened to Keep Britain Tidy? It is time for change. Radical change. A 'zero tolerance to litter' policy at every level of government. Many steps will need to be taken, including, but not limited to:

UK Highways to clear up highways regularly (at least monthly)

Explore the use of offenders as litter gangs

Take away outlets to print car reg on packaging

Litter cameras to be developed

Litter fines to be increased

Zero tolerance to litter to be encouraged in all aspects of society, including a compulsory education campaign in ALL schools and on TV etc.

A 'single use plastic, bottle and can' tax or deposit scheme to be introduced

Improved litter signage and increased bin capacity
