Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam (1931-2015) is widely regarded as one of the greatest Indians ever born. He was the pioneer in space, missile, defense, aeronautics and nuclear technologies and gave India many reasons to be proud of.

He is an inspiration to many generations of Indians for his integrity, hard work and scientific talent. Dr. Kalam spent almost three decades of his life in the city of New Delhi, where he worked in DRDO, as Scientific Advisor to Defense Minister, Principal Scientific Advisor to Govt. of India, the eleventh President of India and eight years post his Presidency. More than half of his professional life was hence in the city of New Delhi.

After his sudden and sad demise on July 27, 2015, the whole country was left mourning in memory of their 'Missile Man'. It is now come to light that his last home for eight years at 10, Rajaji Marg, New Delhi, is been vacated.

This petition is to bring the people of this country together in appealing to all Governments, Officials, Politicians, to ensure that Dr. Kalam's house is used as a knowledge centre/library to his services to the Nation, so that even after his life he continues to inspire generations.
