A petition letter to the government to make them take action for providing these stray animals a halfway home and medical care.

Street dogs and feral cats. Everyday we pass them by. They roam the streets, and salvage any food in the garbage. Their rights are still not recognized by most us in the society.

Some causes of this animals cruelties are as follows:

1. Abandonment
2. Giving them away to people not prepared for adopting
3. Dumping animals far away where they won't be able to find a home

Large populations of stray animals are public health concerns. Dog bites, rabies, leptospirosis, cat scratch fever and many more. The disruption caused by street dogs barking because of territorial fights is also a problem faced by residents in such areas. It is important to reduce the stray animal population to control the spread of dangerous diseases and stop dog bites and attacks.

Providing these animals what they need and recognizing their rights will help not on ly them but also us, members of the society, for our health concerns.
