By 2050 it is estimated that the amount of plastic in the sea will out weigh fish and plastic takes thousands of years to deteriorate. Don’t leave this problem down to the future generation. We have made enough mess as it is its time for change. By using a degradable alternative when shopping we can reduce the amount of plastic pollution and help the environment. There are compostable plastic bags that only certain supermarkets use, such as the cooperative. If we get all supermarkets to use this better alternative we can get rid of plastic bags forever. If we all take small steps we can help save the planet and the living things within it.
