Ban the domestic sale of fireworks to the general public and ONLY allow the sale of them to be for big organizations and public displays. This ban will help the environment, it will stop criminal behaviour and prevent animals being scared across the United Kingdom.  This will also protect children from being harmed due to gaining access to illegal fireworks. 


This is a personal one for me because my late Aunt Frances experienced traumatic events that caused her to have a heart attack, after a youth posted a lit firework through her letter box. Also, I care deeply about the safety and well-being of animals and not having this ban in place puts their lives at risk. 

This would mean no supermarket or shop can sell the dangerous products, as the contents will be only accessible by responsible event creators. 

Fireworks cause extensive air pollution in a short amount of time, leaving metal particles, dangerous toxins, harmful chemicals and smoke in the air for hours and days. Some of the toxins never fully decompose or disintegrate, but rather hang around in the environment, poisoning all they come into contact with.
