We would like for anyone that harms any animal to be punished the same as they would for hurting a human. It’s about time that people stopped getting away with treating animals how they want. This world does not belong to humans! Animals have the same right as humans to live. Whether it is just hurting them or killing them, they need to be punished! 

We want to start this petition as we have had one of our beloved pet sheep taken from his field and butchered just 30 metres away from his field, by someone that we probably will never find as this crime isn’t taken seriously! Me and my family have been around animals our whole life and they are our family/life, so something like this has really affected us, it’s like loosing a family member because that’s what they are. Why should someone be able to go onto private property take an animal and murder them? They shouldn’t and they should be punished. 

The unimaginable has happened to us, our yard is our safe place or at least it was! We’ve grown up there with our animals and our family! We’ve gone there when we’re happy and when we’re sad, to just speak to our animals (even though they can’t talk back) and now it feels like it’s no longer safe because someone has gotten away with MURDER! I think they should be punished like they would if they went into someone’s home and took a child/person and murdered them, just because they murdered an animal it shouldn’t be any different!

2 months after this awful event happened to Larry, the same nasty people have come back and done the same to our pet pig George. How anyone can do this and get away with it is sickening. They can not get away with this, but animal crimes aren’t taken seriously! 

Larry and George were loved beyond words, all we have to think is in their short years of life they were loved forever and had the best life imaginable! Their now away from the cruel world that we live in.
