Refugees are fleeing countries even in the most unsafe and uncertain conditions to try and find safety. In Idaho, our political leadership is raising concerns that could set roadblocks hindering refugees from resettling in our communities in the future. In this time, the Treasure Valley community feel it is critical that we stand together to tell the world and our political leaders that Idaho is and will be a place of welcome and refuge for people seeking safety, and that refugee resettlement in Idaho should and will continue here without hindrance. We see value in all human life and finding a safe place to live as a basic human right. 

We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our leaders to act now to continue to welcome and resettle refugees in Idaho.
