They acknowledge the agency is competing for people who have gotten used to working from home they claim a major impediment to the return is perception of disorder on trains with homeless and mentally ill people that’s not true.working from home is a great benefit that’s why ridership is down.

To make matters worse instead of providing us know cost benefit he says he will also need to squeeze savings from transit unions in coming talks and ensuring pay raises are aligned with MTA revenues…. just let people work from home give up office space that’s where most of the money goes…
