I’m an MTA office worker who was there for the MTA at the onset of telecommuting-making the transition seamlessly. I continued to process Benefits, calling employees families who had passed away from COVID, etc. and my ability to work from home was not questioned, it was encouraged. So I ask where is the flexibility now that I am requesting it? Do the right thing, step into the 21st century and create a reasonable telecommuting plan for your staff or risk losing us to companies that will accommodate us.
