"Give Karen Delaney "Lanie" Greenberger her freedom"

"Give Karen Delaney "Lanie" Greenberger her freedom"
The Issue
Mrs. Greenberger is a 73 year old woman with many compromising health conditions and has served 32 years in prison. She has a sentence structure of life without the possibility of parole. She was interviewed by the governors office when Gov. Brown was still in office for possible commutation. Unfortunately, he went out of office before he was able to commute her. Her commutation is still pending.
This woman is incredible. She has never had a write up for being in trouble in 32 years. She is a devout Christian and lives her life as such every single moment of everyday. She has touched the lives of so many women who has crossed her path while incarcerated, I am one of them. She helped me find my path to the lord and to freedom while never knowing if she herself will ever have the her own chance at freedom. She has 50 signatures and badge numbers from staff who support her freedom.
She too deserves to be with her friends and family outside of those fences. She is an elderly woman who each and everyday, makes sure that she does everything possible to honor God and the victim of the crime that she serves time for.
Please, I ask all of you to participate in the freeing of Karen "Lanie" Greenberger. She would be a blessing to any community that she becomes a part of. She does not deserve the serious threat of covid-19 as she is vulnerable at age 73 with pre-existing medical conditions. It is severely cruel and unusual punishment.
