The Issue

Gov. Jerry Brown of California,  and other Public Officials,  Many young and healthy dogs, cats, etc. are being euthanized without given enough time for adoption.  In addition, the No Out of State adoption policy is preventing these animals from being saved.  The Orange County,  Apple Valley,   etc. High Kill Animal Shelters need changes in their policies.  People are trying to adopt, raise pledges to rescue and foster, but have little time to do so.  THESE  SHELTERS  ARE  TOO  QUICK  TO KILL !!!

On December 15th of this year, a healthy two year old Chihuahua female was killed after being at the O.C. California shelter for only FOUR Days!  She did not even have half a chance.  This unfortunately is common procedure in these shelters.  THERE  IS  NO  EXCUSE  FOR  ENDING  A  LIFE !!!   We as a compassionate nation need to change and regulate the actions of these shelters.  This is an issue that needs immediate attention nationwide.  These helpless souls cannot speak for themselves,  so it is up to us to speak for them.  If you look in the eyes of any one of these babies, you will see how desperate they need help, and how much they long to be loved.

This  petition  is  in  the  name  and  on  behalf  of  the  Francis  Charles  Animal   Foundation.
