Update: Environmental Advocacy Paused Due to Retaliatory Violence in Georgia.

Thank you for supporting this petition to stop illegal burning and protect Georgia residents from toxic chemical exposure and environmental hazards.
Unfortunately, I was forced to pause this environmental petition after my family became the target of escalating hostility and violence for reporting environmental crimes, resulting in substantial harm to my elderly, disabled mother.
No one should ever be targeted for speaking up. Too many environmental crimes occur in counties and states where willful apathy, indifference and ignorance toward pollution and air quality violations are tolerated. Environmental advocacy must also protect those who report these crimes.
I have since launched a new petition demanding a full federal investigation into the serious, prosecutable crimes committed against my mother and into Georgia’s systemic failures that continue to endanger elderly and disabled residents.
More than 1,600 supporters across the country have already signed the petition for #Justice4DaisyAlford.
Please join our fight for justice. Your voice matters! Please take a moment to read and share the petition with others:
Demand Federal Investigation into Crimes Against My 80-Year-Old Disabled Mother in Georgia.
No one should be allowed to harm the elderly and disabled with impunity. We must stop this injustice in America. Elderly and disabled people deserve to live in peace, safety and dignity.
Georgia residents are still being exposed to serious environmental hazards. To date, 96,629 environmental complaints have been filed with the Georgia Environmental Protection Division, including 15,553 air quality complaints. Yet, Georgia officials continue to fail to protect residents from illegal burning, toxic pollutants and other environmental hazards across many of the state's 159 counties.
While I don’t yet have a timeline for resuming this environmental petition, rest assured that environmental advocacy will continue once we get justice. #Justice4DaisyAlford
Thank you for your past and continued support.
