Thank you for supporting this petition.  Your support is helping to power this petition. Every voice matters!  Every signature counts!

We are still awaiting the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's response to the Congressional Inquiry filed on June 28, 2024.  The enforcement failures of the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) are exposing Georgia residents to harmful, toxic chemicals.  Toxic smoke harms us all with vulnerable residents suffering the most including the elderly, pregnant women, infants and children, and people with respiratory and pulmonary illnesses, heart disease and cancer.

The EPD even wields unchecked power to disregard accelerant complaints; federal investigation and intervention are long overdue.

Across all social media, please use the hashtag #BreathingShouldNotBeHazardous.  It is a powerful call to action emphasizing the importance of clean air and environmental justice and safety.  It also highlights concerns related to harmful, toxic chemicals, illegal burning and other hazards that impact our ability to breathe freely.

By using #BreathingShouldNotBeHazardous, we are raising awareness, advocating for change and connecting with others who share a commitment to a healthier planet.

Though Governor Brian Kemp chose inaction, we keep pushing forward.  Together, we will ensure Governor Kemp takes action to protect Georgians from harmful, toxic chemicals, stop illegal burning and fix the broken Burn Ban enforcement system.

Thank you for supporting.  Thank you for caring.  We hope to exceed 500 petition supporters this week!  Please help us reach that goal by sharing this petition update with five people today.
